The laptop was an ingenious and convenient advancement of the computer, but even with modern redesigns for prolonged use, very little has been done to help with ergonomics. 

It is advisable that you set up your laptop with a laptop stand, and use an external keyboard and mouse in place for the laptop mouse and trackpad.
