The curve in your middle spine is known as the thoracic kyphosis. The thoracic kyphosis runs from the shoulders down to the bottom of the ribcage and has a gentle rounding with about a 20º to 45º angle. The lumbar lordosis is on the opposite the thoracic kyphosis.
