Good vs Bad Posture

GOOD POSTURE

FEEL HEALTHY

By practicing good posture and placing your body in a poised, upright and balanced position, you create feelings of healthiness.

STAY STRESS FREE

The benefits of good posture can lead to less stress.

BUILD CONFIDENCE

Perception is everything; good posture can have a huge impact on how others see you.

LOOK GOOD

Standing up straight adds height and authority to your figure, while you’ll also look slimmer and younger.

BAD POSTURE

BAD HEALTH

Bad posture can lead to bad health conditions that can permanently round your shoulders and even contribute to disc and joint degeneration in your spine.

INCREASE STRESS

When the body is slouched and constricted, it prevents it from working optimally which results in a bad mood and also increase stress.

LOW CONFIDENCE

Someone who is slouching will appear less confident and more shy.

UNATTRACTIVE

When you make bad posture a part of your daily routine, you can have problems like
hyperlordosis which can make you unattractive.

  1. After researched a lot on bad posture, I found that in most cases, bad posture is not caused by laziness or bad habits. But Poor posture is a sign of a deeper problem—your spine being out of alignment, causing your muscles, ligaments and support structures to compensate for the misalignment over time.

Good posture can be the difference between a great day and a bad day! I say that because posture impacts your mood and can impact the neuro signals in your brain. Sitting up straight with your shoulders back is a sign of confidence, both to other people and to your brain 🙂
